Mjoderiet – Blueberry Waffles

Back in 2019, we made a nanobatch of mead, consisting only of blueberry juice and honey, spiced with cardamom and real vanilla. The idea was to recreate the flavor of a classic Norwegian waffle plate with blueberry jam. The mead was very well received, and this year we decided that more people should be able to share the experience.
Blueberry Waffles is sweet, fruity, intens and luxurious. Of course, it pairs well with waffles with blueberry jam, but also with cream-based desserts and cakes – or just as a stand-alone enjoyment.
