This beer, this design and this series are very special to us. DISCOUNTER STRIKE was not only our first beer to be bottled in cans, but also with our own brand new can filler – which was delivered in the middle of the first lockdown. With the pandemic series, the idea was born to release all our beers in series of 5 to 6 beers, with themes that are currently on our minds.
The wordplay DISCOUNTER STRIKE flirts with the fact that in many German supermarkets the shelves with toilet paper were almost empty for weeks and people sometimes fought over it. (while in France red wine and condoms were supposedly sold out…)
