Lough Gill Brewery – Spear (2024)

Since our first Barrel Aged Series in 2021, we’ve launched a new version of Spear every year, making it our flagship stout of the series.

Aged for a year in Sherry Oloroso casks that previously held Irish Whiskey from @boanndistillery, Spear reveals strong notes of whiskey softened by the chocolate and coffee aromas coming from our blend of roasted and caramel malts.
A soft Sherry finish gives this Imperial Stout a silky texture to support the 13% abv alcohol.
