Kompaan – Pepernoten Pastry Stout 2022

The original working title of this series is called “Blubberdikkejetsers”, and although this name
isn’t the most sophisticated, these beers truly are some delicate creatures. “Blubberdik” certainly
captures the true spirit of these beers! Muddy, thick & heavy – these beers are easy substitutes
for a hearty dessert or a colorful birthday cake.
This beer is not a political statement, we just love pepernoten. [“Peppernuts” the classic sweet
snack that’s available in the Netherlands around “Sinterklaas”. The Dutch version of Santa
Clause, celebrated on the 5th of December]
